Rory Tippit, MD, MPAS

Medical Director

Rory Tippit, MD, MPAS joined Baxter in 2020 and is the Global Medical Director for Advanced Surgery in North and South America. He served in the US Army for 21 years as a Medical Officer/United Nations Task Force Commander, responsible for the health and medical care of over 8,000 soldiers and their families. His outstanding leadership and medical expertise have earned him numerous honors, including the Order of Military Medical Merit and Meritorious Service Medals.

He received his MD from University of Science Arts and Technology and a Bachelors and Masters in Science from the University of Nebraska. Dr. Tippit practiced Trauma Surgery for 7 years at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ.
